Well, it turns out (for those who have not been following the saga of "Hokuto whines about the cold" on tumblr) that the boiler in the house is malfunctioning, so no one has any heat, and that the hot water in the kitchen and at least one shower don't work. This week is going to be awesome, I can tell.

Wow, I am really sorry at my ridiculous lack of updating, I just don't have much to say, I guess. Today I boldly left my computer at home when I went to the Ph.D workroom so that I could actually get some reading done and notes taken, and lo, it worked! I did a reasonably close reading of Isaiah so I could work out the general structure and themes of it a bit in notes, which is progress for sure.
